Clean Grey Menu 0

This tutorial will teach you how to design a very simple grey menu.

1. Create a new document (150*50) and fill the background with #FFFFFF using the paint bucket tool. In this tutorial we’re going to create a very simple grey button.

2. Select a square size shape of 130*30 pixels with your rectangular marquee tool and fill this shape with any color you like on a new layer using the paint bucket tool.

3. The next step is to adjust the blending options on this layer (layer – layer style – blending options).

4. Now type out some text in this color #606060 (I used the Verdana font) and center it (I hope you know how to do that, it’s pretty simple).

5. At the end of the tutorial you should have a wonderfull grey button looking like this and ofcourse you can add more of them by duplicating the layers (layer – duplcate layer) to make a nice and clean menu for your website! You could use this menu for almost everything! Professional designs, a portfolio,… I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that you’ll view my other ones as well!
