7. Now add a marquee selection around your first large rounded rectangle. Then make a new layer and paint #140B10 color shade on the bottom end till the middle of the marquee selection.

8. Now make a smaller rounded rectangle design with a small curve on top and a bigger curve at the bottom. Make sure the flat shape color is black at 162 x 55 px dimensions.

9. Under layer style (layer – layer style) add an inner shadow, inner glow, satin and gradient overlay blending options to the smaller rounded rectangle design layer.

11. Now create a new layer then draw a white rectangle with 134×204 px dimensions, this will be the screen on the device.

11. Under layer style (layer – layer style) add a drop shadow, inner glow and stroke blending options to your white screen layer.

    Great tut. Unfortunately the G1 looks awful. It’s such a shame that the first android phone had to look so cheap and tacky.
