Modern Warfare 2 Text 28

In this tutorial you can learn how to create a modern warfare text effect. You can use this to promote games or even create a modern website header related to war or anything else.

1. Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 700×300 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with black color. Now select the horizontal type tool then set the font family to arial, bold, 48 pt, smooth and #D3EDC4 color shade. In a new text layer type “MODERN WARFARE” or text anything you want.

2. Under layer style (layer – layer style) add an inner glow blending option to your white text layer.

Just register and then you’re able to download the .psd files at the bottom of each tutorial ;) .

  15. achaaaaa says:

Where did you get the ’2′ from ?

  16. Not that bad, not 100% but it’s a good start.

What you can also do is:
    1) Use wind (like someone else said to do).
    2) Make your 2 lines like said in the Tutorial and then merge them with another text layer and go filter>blur>motion blur and mess around with the settings some untill you find a fit to it.

    Overall good tut!

  17. Admin says:

  25. Anthony says:

    Very nice!

  26. Admin says:

    Fixed it, I’m sorry ;-) !

  27. Paviano says:

How to cut out a vertical rectangle in the middle of the 2?

  28. Admin says:

You right click on the text layer where you wrote the 2 and rasterize it. After that you can use your selection tool to remove the vertical rectangle in the middle of the 2 ;) !
