Create an attractive banner using this tutorial to maximize your click-through rate.
1. Create a new document (160*600).
2. Fill the background with #e8fe9a using the paint bucket tool.
3. Adjust the blending options on this layer like this.
4. Now create a new layer (layer – new layer) and use your elliptical marquee tool to select a rounded shape on the bottom of your file like this! I’ve used my shift button to add another bulge…
5. Fill your previous selection with #a32c80 and adjust the blending options to add a stroke with the settings shown below!
6. I’ve added another circle in this sixth step using my elliptical marquee tool. I filled my selection with #ba61a0! You can do this yourself using the instructions from the previous step…
7. In this last step I’ve just added a new layer and use this brush to make it look a little bit nicer and professional… I’ve also added a little bit of text! The font is microsoft sans serif because it looks nice and clean! It has a size of 22px. The text on the bottom is in the same font but with a size of just 9px!
